Welcome to my page! I am Kaptnkarl. I am a Husker transplant hiding out in rural Iowa. I was a happy bachelor in my hometown of Omaha NE when my then future wife convinced me to move to Iowa. (Actually, when I compared the difference in property taxes between the two states, it wasn't a tough decision.) I was a city slicker. Now I am a country boy living in a small town.

I've run a long broken road that has landed me here. I have found the love of my life and I am living the life of Riley in small town America. I don't know what I did to deserve the life I have, but I have it better than I could have ever dreamed of.
